Every year around this time, I start looking into the future at the holidays, start prieving personal life and business together. When I to halloween, I think that’s far enough, it’d be silly to look farther than that but then I get there and kick myself every time.
That’s usually about the time of the year I get over whelmed with life because it gets so busy. I switch into survival mode and then I don’t enjoy the holidays.
Let’s save you some time and stress this year. This year we’re going to plan pictures instead of letting them creep up on you. Tucson Photographer, Fall Family Photo Sessions
Pick a look or location
Here in Tucson, we have so many different location vibes… if you will. We can get to saguaro cacti or to “real” trees that change colors in the fall within a 45 minute drive.
Real Tree area AKA Mt Lemmon but remember, this is 6000-7000 feet higher in altitude. That means it’s cold in those fall and winter months. Dress accordingly.
Down South towards Sonoita. So pretty but again, a bit more chilly and def more windy than we are used to here in Tucson.
Two different locations, two different sides of town with all the Saguaros you can dream of. Don’t worry, if you’re from Tucson, you know the weather 😎
Wardrobes are hard, but they don’t have to be-here are some tips that may help…
1. Ladies! Choose your outfit first!
Is there an outfit that makes your confidence shoot through the roof? Or a dress you haven’t found the right occasion to bring it out for?
Todays the day!
2. Colors, patterns, textures
Choose 2-3 colors from your original outfit and use them as the guide to everyone else’s wardrobes. Try and mix in different textures and/or patterns for extra pops.
3. Comfort is key!
Comfort shines through a persons eyes. If you’re uncomfortable, we will see it in the final images
4. Classic never goes out of style
This one’s an opinion but trends maybe fun in the moment but they will date your images. Images that stand the test of time is what we are aiming for.
I hope this was helpful, if so let me know
Three things!
- Date?
- Location?
- Whatcha wearing?
Easy-peasy! Just remember, the only pictures you will truly regret are the ones you didn’t take.
Reach out as soon as you’re ready! Let’s check this off your “to-do” list together!
